Product Overview
This collection of essential ski tuning tools is ideal for someone just getting started with tuning, a tuner looking for a compact travel kit or the dedicated minimalist. The kit includes every one of the hand-selected items listed below and is offered at a special package price. The FK Multi Edge Tuning Tool addresses the base or side edges from 0° to 5° in .5° increments, it ships with a mill file installed and accepts the DMT Diamond Stones included in the kit. The coarse diamond stone (black) is used to remove large burrs or hard casing, the medium (blue) can be used in between filings to sharpen the edges, the fine (red) is used for polishing or lightly touching up the edges after a day of skiing if sharpening is not required. The Gummi Stone is used by hand and is handy (hah) for removing rust or detuning the tips and tails if they're a bit too sharp. The brake retainers keep things out of the way. There's a brass brush too, to keep the file clean.
- (3) DMT Diamond Stones (coarse, medium, fine)
- (1) FK Multi Edge Tuning Tool (includes file)
- (2) Brake Retainers (hook style)

5 Tuning kit
Posted by Mark on Feb 22, 2022
Great kit for sharpening side edge and base bevel. I’ve sharpened 5 sets of skis now and everyone commented on the good ski performance in icy conditions. Good value. I am in Canada and there was a small brokerage fee added that I had to pay for on delivery.

5 Quality Edge Tuning - Tognar Alpha Ski Tuning Kit
Posted by Diane Penna Gorski on Feb 17, 2022
A nice compact "essentials" kit for tuning / maintaining edges. includes an adjustable angle edge guide, file, diamond stones (plus some extras- brush, brake holders, gummy stone.) Fast service, the components of the kit seem very high quality. The Tognar YouTube channel has a nice "how-to" video for using the tuning guide - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivsiinG4hSA&t=305s .

5 Great edge tuning kit for skiers interested in maintaining their own skis
Posted by ParksT on Apr 29, 2019
Great combination of diamond stones, file, gummi stone and edge guide. Allows you to sharpen and polish base and side edges and vary edge angle in 0.5 degree increments. Great if you are sharpening a number of skis with different angles. Solid value.
