    Great Little Iron

Posted by Alice Martin on Mar 17, 2019

I love this iron. It has an accurate temperature gauge and a very flat base. It is replacing my 20 year old iron and makes a huge difference in the waxing process

    works well

Posted by GG from NH on Feb 19, 2016

This is my first "real" wax iron. I was using an old clothes iron with all its downfalls and wasn't sure if this would be that much better. I'm glad to say I was wrong, what a pleasure to use. Heats up quickly, you can dial it in to just the right temperature (I use an all purpose wax so I never have to change it) and the heavy duty base and I'm assuming better electronic controls maintains a steady temperature as you lay the wax on. It's also great for pre-heating the base when fixing gouges.

    Good basic iron

This is a good, inexpensive iron. The temperature control can be a little loose (= imprecise), but once you get it dialed in, the temperature is consistent. Heats up fast, appears to hold pretty close to the same temp. as you use it. This is my second one: dropped the first one on the floor one time too many, and the temperature control broke. Watch out for scratching the base, too.

Only my second iron but a vast improvement over the first. Really consistent with heat and I love the shape, a pleasure to use.

Nice iron for the price; Way better than a clothes iron!

Posted by Unknown on Jan 02, 2014

Really the first 'real' iron i've ever used. Worked a heck of a lot better than the clothes iron we had used a few times. Kept it's heat, was easy to set, etc.

    Excellent Iron

This iron was a huge upgrade over my previous iron. Great heat control and nice size. I expect to have this iron for a long time. And doing business with Tognar is always a pleasure.

I'm a total newbie and it's easy to use

Very happy with the iron so far. I'm very new to tuning my own gear and found it to be fairly easy to use. The only trouble is the temperature gauge is difficult to see under the handle. It functions beautifully other than that.
