    Product Description

    These drill bits are specially designed for mounting ski bindings. They ensure the holes are drilled at the correct diameter, and perhaps more importantly...at the correct depth. They fit any mounting jig, are a full 3" long, and will countersink the screw holes so you don't "bubble-up" the top ski surface when you tighten down the screw. The bits feature a pronounced lip which prevents the bit from drilling any deeper than it should. Bits are sold each.

    • First number indicates diameter, second indicates depth.
    • 3.5 x 9mm or 9.5mm you'll know if you need these.
    • 3.6 x 9mm or 9.5mm bits are best for most adult alpine skis without metal in the ski.
    • 4.1 x 9mm or 9.5mm bits are for most alpine skis with a metal or titanal mounting plate internally located in the ski.
    • 3.5 x 7mm bit is for most junior alpine skis.
    • Always defer to binding or ski manufacturer recommendations.

      The wasn’t my first stop to buy this bit, but they hold stock when the rest of the US didn’t. There is something to be said for that. The bit is nice too.
