Product Description
Use these self-adhesive foam rubber pads to create a more secure heel pocket and the take up volume on each side of the Achilles. If you are experiencing heel-lift these are great pads to try first.
- Firm 1/8" thick foam rubber resists compression.
- Backed with pressure sensitive adhesive.
- Adhere to the outside of the boot liner.
- Foam can be sanded and trimmed for a precise fit.
- 1/8" thick firm foam.
- Sold as a pair.
Installation Tips:
- Remove liners from boot.
- Make sure the boot liners are warm and dry.
- Slide foot into liner and locate ankle bones, marking their position on the outside of the liner with a pen or chalk.
- Remove foot from liner.
- Peel backing from pad, apply pad to the boot so the wings of the pad are positioned just below the ankle bone (the mark you made above). Wings should angle down.
- Press pad firmly to boot liner (some liners are more resistant to the adhesive, in this case you can use Duct Tape or Barge Cement to hold the pad in place).
- When sliding the liner back in the boot be aware that the pad does not catch on any part of the boot shell.
- Go ski!
- If you discover pressure points you can remove that section of the pad carefully with a sharp blade.

Game changer!
I have always had problems with, what my husband calls, my "razor heels" in boots and sneakers. I was gifted a pair of really nice combat boots and had major heel movement when walking in them. I have tried other products from other places before and they never seem to actually work. I saw these and thought it might be a bit overkill since I'm not using them for skiing but thought, what the heck, I'll give it a try. I'm so glad that I did because they are perfect!! I can wear my boots all day while walking and they are still comfortable at the end of the day! These are an absolute game changer for me! I will definitely be buying more!

These rescued my boots!
These totally solved the heel lift issue with my new ski boots. I was ready to give up on them, but with these pads they are now the best boots I've ever owned. The product shipped quickly. The pads stay stuck pretty well (heated them with a hair dryer first), but I covered them in duct tape just to be sure.

Worked like a charm
I have skinny heels and was having an issue with heel lift. These solved the problem — zero heel lift now.

Boot fitting foam pads
Easy to use and my boots fit better now

Ankle pads
Bought hoping to minimize heel lift in my boots and worked great, although it did make it significantly harder to squeeze my ankles into the boot. Otherwise, heel lift is minimal now

Heel lift no more
A month ago I had lost all confidence between sloshing around in my boots and catching an edge and taking quite the fall. (I am a black diamond boarder.) I debated getting new boots but found these ankle wraps and what a difference! I have my confidence back. My heels aren’t lifting out of my boots and I have so much more control of my board!

Modified Ankle Pads for Ski Boots
Arrived quickly. Great online instructions which I followed exactly. My skinny ankles needed additional space filled to keep a good fit. Worked perfectly and I covered them with duct tape to keep them positioned when cramming the inner boot back into the boot shell. Would buy again.

Works like a charm to eliminate my heel lift
I have now used these on the liners for my last three pairs of snowboard boots to eliminate heel lift. I have narrow heels and have always had problems with heel lift - but those problems are now in the past! The adhesive on these pads has been worry-free, and the pads have stayed stay stuck on with no issues when I remove my liners for drying and reinsert them to go riding. The shape has been perfect to both push in the liner above the point of my heel bone/at the base of my achilles and also to add extra purchase to the J bars that are built into my liners' shape.

Good, id buy them again.
I have a rather narrow ankle and have had issues with heel lift in every pair of boots I’ve owned or even put on. I’ve tried sizing down to get a more snug fit which worked for like 3/4 days. I bought these, put them on and as of now I rode 5 days in japan with them and it’s been great. After 5/6 hours riding one of my heels started feeling like it might be blistering but it was Fine and I’m sure I could figure out a fix. All in all good stuff.
