Product Description
Ski or snowboard boots too big? These insole shims are the simplest way to take up extra volume. Simply insert the shim between the boot shell and liner (not inside the liner) and the extra volume will disappear. If unsure size up, you can easily trim them to fit (see shim lengths below). Available in two thicknesses.
- Light, flexible, durable and resistant to compression.
- Their non-woven, resin saturated, polyester composition provides additional insulation and resists mildew
- 3/32" (2.3mm) for those who just need a little tightening up.
- 5/32" (3.96mm) for those whose boots are obviously too big, and for most soft snowboard boots.
- Sizes are based on men's street shoe size, we recommend sizing up one size and trimming as needed (see shim lengths below).
- Actual shim color may vary.
- Sold in a pair

No Substitute!
I have narrow AA feet, and there is NO substitute for Bontex insoles! Cut them to size, and place underneath existing insoles. Reduces shoe volume, and without adding squishy padding that won't hold up. Also adds little more protection from bottom impacts. Bontex is very durable, waterproof, and mold-free.

a must have to adjust boot fit
I usually have to take up some extra volume in boots. Supportive footbeds like Superfeet don't do it all. These shims allow u to use your favorite footbed and then take up more volume for a snug fit. Buy your own shims And avoid extra time and money at the ski shop

Simple, Strong and Flat
Well, these are just flat pieces of material intended to take up space in your shoe, boot, whatever, and they do. They're durable, don't crinkle when being installed and provide a sturdy base. It's kind of amazing how much space even the 1/16th size takes up.

Worked well
Skied about 10 mornings with them and they helped fill my boots that really need new liners. Just got some new foot beds and now I'm good for the rest of the season.

Works well
What's to review?....these are moisture resistant fiberboard that are exactly right to take up excess space in the foot area of the boot. Ankle or heel loose?...use a different product. Foot loose?...use Bontex insoles.

Take up volume without impacting overall fit
I have very skinny, low-volume feet, and these shims work great for taking up some extra volume without lifting my heel or otherwise changing the fit of the uppers. I use them in my ski boots as well as hiking shoes and they work great.
