4 Got Flat Skis?
Posted by Unknown on Feb 13, 2018
Ski Visions Base Structurer/ Flattener is great for flattening concave bases and giving structure before a hot wax. Use a true bar to reveal the "flat truth". You'll be surprised especially with brand new skis.

3 Works as Designed However..

The Medium grit is still a very aggressive stone; will leave deep structure grooves even with very light pressures. If Ski Visions offered a Fine grit, I'd go with that every time.

3 OK

The base flattening tool does and ok job but is far less than shop tuning costs. I used these to keep things close in between full shop tunes.

5 Works almost too well
Posted by Spade Hackle on Mar 12, 2014
Can't imagine what a coarse blade would do, this one flattens and adds structure almost too easily. My older ski visions flattener had to have the side edges cut off to let the 6 inch stone work, but that was easy dremel duty. Glad to have it!
