TOKO UNIVERSAL GLIDE WAX Universal wax is like aspirin...it serves the needs of most skiers and snowboarders, and performs well in almost all snow conditions and temperatures. It's an ideal choice in changeable conditions, as well as for coaches, patrollers and instructors who work in all snow conditions. Rub or melt it on your ski or snowboard bases as a glide wax, travel wax or storage wax. It's especially economical when waxing a lotta skis or boards for the family or club...and doubles as a good cleaning wax using a `hot scrape' technique. Apply it whenever snow is damp enough to make a snowball, where it provides more zip than universal hydrocarbon waxes. We offer it in two formulations...liquid and solid. The liquid express wax is quickly and easily applied anywhere and anytime without an iron...just rub it on your ski or snowboard bases whenever they look dry...at home, in the parking lot, during lunch or on the slopes. Sprinkle a little of this ultra-hard powder wax on your base (or even just along your edges) and carefully tamp it down with a heated iron before applying your wax of the day. It helps protects the base in cold and abrasive (icy, manmade, etc.) snow conditions to help prevent base burn, as well as increase the durability of the overlaying wax layer. 60 gram shaker. TOKO MOLYBDENUM WAX Use this wax every 4th or 5th wax job to help replace the benefits of "lost" graphite on black (electra) p-tex bases. It can also be applied to clear or colored bases, although some harmless cosmetic darkening of the base will be visible afterwards until the wax wears off. Molybdenum wax helps reduce static friction on bases in cold dry snow, as well as help repel dirt in wet dirty snow...both of which create more unwanted base "drag". Usually we recommend rubbing this wax directly onto bases (like a crayon) to insure consistent distribution of the molybdenum particles, then dripping your preferred wax of the day over it and heating both in together with a wax iron...but it can also be used alone on especially statically-charged or very dirty snow days. It is available in low and high-fluorinated formulas.
