Product Overview
The tool ships with the degree bevel plate listed already installed. Additional bevel plates are available seperately. They do not stack on top of each other.To change the degree of angle you must remove the installed plate (easy, no tools needed) and install the appropriate degree plate.
The Side of Beast Pro is an accurate and completely bomber side edge bevel tool. The frame is constructed of anodized aluminum with a stainless steel wear plate. Unlike most side bevel guides, the Side of Beast Pro doesn’t require a separate clamp. Instead files or stones are held securely in place with an integral clamp that eliminates the possibility of angle inaccuracy due to the file/stone lifting away from the tool during filing. All in all a pretty tidy package. Please note the 4° tool is a bit more expensive because it has a metal angle shim.
- Maximum stone or file thickness 7mm (1/4").
- Best suited for files or stones 70mm to 200mm long.
- Optional 1°, 2°, 3° and 4° angle plates are available for maximum versatility and can be easily installed without tools.

... simply the best piece of ski-edge tuning i've found in 40 + years of ski-tuning. i've tuned my skis since elementary school. cut my fingers / hands many, many times tuning race skis for decades. this guide made it simple. it's just that ... simple. it produces a straight, TRUE, edge sharpening experience. i trust these guys, Steve Chamberlain? expert. he gave me a personal tour of all the tools, and i'm set for a long, long time now. he knows his stuff.

Holds files and diamond stones of various sizes. You can vary the angle of the file to get the right cut. Very sturdy tool for the home tuner.

I love how this guide holds the stone or file, and how easy it is to change an angle plate. It was recommebded to me by pro's, and I am really happy with it.

It works for what I use it for I like how it holds your filing tool with it's built in clamp and how you can change your angle with different plates instead of buying a whole different guide But some stones don't fit the guide like oxidize stones if you want to really polish your edges Great guide

What a great side edge tuner! Beast really gets it right with its built in clamp system. This minimizes file slipping (and cut hands). Also, the bottom edge of the file guide is thoughtfully tapered so marks on the base of the ski are minimized. Also, ithe plate is made out of tough stainless steel so it is unlkely to chip, gouge or corode and potentially damage your ski. I have owned virtually every side edge tuner there is and this one is by far the best.
