Swix Top Speed Black waxes have the same race-proven formula as the standard TS waxes, with the addition of a black additive which combats the dry friction encountered on contaminated or dirty snow. TS5B is the hardest wax in the TSB lineup making it an excellent choice for cold, aggressive snow conditions that might easily strip a less durable wax out of the base. Despite its hardness TS5 has a relatively low melt point making it much easier to apply compared to similar waxes. The solid black lubricant added to the wax reduces the dry friction encountered on contaminated snow.
