This is a great little iron that will fit nearly anybody's waxing budget. It features a respectable 16mm-thick aluminum base that measures 105mm x 145mm (4.25" x 5.75") and is beveled and dimpled to ease the spreading of wax. If you're thinking you can get by with a clothes iron, do yourself a favor and go this route instead, you won't regret it!
- Temperature is adjustable from 212°F to 320°F (100°C to 160°C).
- The iron warms up to optimal operating temperature in 5 minutes, and features a heating element that fluctuates only +/- 5*C.
- Temperatures are printed in Celsius on the dial, not a big deal as most waxes have both Celsius and Farenheit printed on the label, a conversion chart is included in the box.
- Cord length is 8-feet.
- 120 volt, 1000 watts.

Works as advertised.
Does not hold heat long enough to do more than one board, while doing just the one board you have to hold it away from the board to reheat, to even melt the wax on the board you have to use it on max temperature and hold it in place some times so the board actually absorbs the wax. Don't get me wrong it works, it just takes longer to do a good job. I should have expected this quality for the price. I wish I would have bought something better. The reviews I read were of no help now that I have used the product. If it was $20 I could have said "you get what you pay for" but for $40 it is not worth it.
Heats quickly. Nice light weight. Temperate stays pretty constant for universal waxes.
i bought this iron 2 years ago and have used it regularly every season, its well made and easy to use. heats fairly evenly, temperature dial is accurate and the temperature doesnt jump too much. i do notice the front of the iron gets hotter than the back but it doesnt make too much of a diference once you get the base nice and warm.
all and all, its the an awesome iron for its price
