Product Description
The Eliminator is a semi-soft foam pad with a smooth inner face that's designed to fit snugly behind your existing boot tongue. The Autoadapt foam material custom-molds to your shin over time. They can help cure a myriad of ills, including shin bite relief, heel lifting and elimination of instep pain from over buckling...particularly in snowboard boots. They also reduces or eliminates excess room in upper boot cuffs... especially valuable for folks with thin legs or calves who have previously not been able to enjoy all the control boots are designed to deliver without cranking boot buckles impossibly tight, which usually has the undesirable effect of overly stiffening the forward boot flex.

Tongue shims
Over the years I've lost some muscle mass in my legs. So even with my boots as tight as the buckles allow I was having some "slop" in my shin/calf area. These shims have eliminated that "slop" and I am sking as well as can be expected for a 77 year old grandpa. I customized by shortening to fit my boots and used industrial "VELCRO" to keep them in place.

These are amazing!
These totally solved my shin bang problem and they gave me more control in my boots. They are super easy to use and they stay in place without attaching them to the boot tongue. Plus, they weigh hardly anything. I love them and highly recommend them.

Eliminator tounge shim
Solved foot movement in my Downhill and XC ski boots! Well constructed!

So far, so good
I tried these after I got a blood clot in my bony shin from skiing. Big improvement. Snug fit, stays put, better control with my K2 boots.

Excellent padding
These are really helpful, and I would not be able to ski without them. I have them in Scarpa T Race, Scott Synergy, but don't need for the Scarpa Tx Pro (yet). Only issue is they move around in the boot, especially when skinning and need to get re-set to the velcro spots.

Tongue shims
I have long but very narrow feet. I kept buckling my boots down as tight as possible to attempt to get them snug, but it just hurt at the pressure points without getting an overall snug fit. These tongues definitely fill in some of the extra space I was feeling and I thus give a bit more responsiveness in my turns...which is what I was hoping for.

Eliminator tongue shims
I have used these for years in several different snowboard boots, they work great. Bought a new pair because the old ones felt a bit worn out, then bought a second pair to fill more space at the top of a new pair of very stiff snowboard boots. They feel great, waiting for snow season to try the double layer.

A must for skiers with skinny legs
Absolutely love the tongue shims. I have really skinny calves but am a very aggressive skier. I battled shin bang my entire skiing career until I got these things. Really helps suck your foot into the heel of the boot too such a plus!
