This clever device provides a very stable, adjustable platform for tuning and waxing snowboards
To use simply scissor the legs apart, set your board on top and away you go.
Foam pads hold the board by friction when set base-up to wax or tune the base edges.
Slip the board into the vertical grooves and screw in the clamp to secure the board for side edge tuning.
Two positions lock the vise at 33.5" tall and 38" tall.
When in the 38" position the distance between the supports is 18.5" - suitable for side edge tuning because it is taller and gets the edge at a comfortable height.
When in the 33.5" position the vise sits lower and the support distance increases to 26" apart - this position is good for base work and waxing.
Support width is 12".
Some adjustment of board position may be needed when working on the base, especially with longer boards.
Compact folding design for easy storage and travel.
Metal construction.

Works for snowboards as well as skis, although it won't hold skis sideways like it does snowboards. Great when you can't afford a table and separate vises. As it says, sometimes you need to find a compromise on the width setting for longer boards where the bindings are at the same distance apart as the stands. Solid construction, very versatile.
