This unique base bevel guide allows the user to switch bevel angle plates to achieve base edge angles of 3°, 4° or a whopping 5°.
The tool is sold with a 3° angle plate.
4° or 5° plates are sold as options.
Simply remove the existing plate from the tool and replace it with the desired angle plate.
Note: The 3° Final Cut Guide is the only one that switching of bevel plates.
The Final Cut guides are machined from aluminum and stainless steel, and feature replaceable delrin pads where the tool contacts steel edges.
As a result, it is more durable and favored by team, school or club technicians who do more tuning work than the average home mechanic.
These precise bevel guides are used in conjunction with your favorite steel files, diamond stones or ceramic stones.
They lift and hold one end of the file or stone at a fixed height, while allowing the other end to rest on one base edge.
This creates and ensures a precise and consistent base bevel from tip-to-tail (without being influenced by sidecut curvature) when filing or deburring any ski or snowboard.
