I love my panzar. I screwed it to the bench for sharpening scrapers, but took it off because it's so great for other things. I usually don't use a sidewall cutter anymore and use this with a 5 degree file guide. Get a 7 degree guide if your side edges are more than 3 degrees. Cuts side walls and kevlar/carbon layers above the edges better and smoother than sidewall cutter.
