NO WALK-IN TRAFFIC
Sorry, but we don't have a storefront where you can walk in, stroll
the aisles, rummage through tool bins, or pick up an order. Why? Because you'd
probably get lost in the dimly-lit depths of our haunted warehouse, or, possibly
be abducted by one of the less-rehabilitated
members of our otherwise upstanding and friendly packing crew. No lie. Please
place your order by internet,
phone, fax or mail and we'll send it to you pronto.
USED BOXES & FOAM PEANUTS
If your order shows up in a used box stuffed with foam
peanuts, don't be offended...we recycle newspaper, foam peanuts, shredded paper
and cardboard boxes collected from other local businesses to help reduce unnecessary
waste.

RUSH RUSH RUSH
Barring blizzards, volcanic eruptions or earthquakes, we usually ship orders we receive by 10:30am Pacific time (via internet, phone or fax) that very same day...and at no extra charge. So relax, we're pretty fast. Expedited shipping is also available...see more details below.
EXPEDITED SHIPPING
If you're in a real big hurry, expedited shipping (either next-day or 3-day) is also available. Bear in mind that these designations apply only to working days...not weekends or holidays (altho Saturday deliveries are available for an additional $12 charge if you're willing to cough up the extra dough).
Also, because we live in the mountains, local roads and airports occasionally get shut down in snowstorms...and this can delay the delivery of expedited orders.
These "acts of God" are beyond our and the Post Office/FedEx's control...and,
since the Post Office/FedEx don't offer shipping charge reimbursements when these events occur, neither can we. But what skier/boarder in their right mind would complain about fresh snow in the first place?
SHIPPING HEAVY STUFF
Shipping charges for especially heavy orders (containing oversize/weight items marked with an asterik * next to them in our printed or online catalogs) are determined by the actual weight of the package. Please email, call or fax us for exact charges.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
We ship orders all over the snowy world. We only charge the actual cost (via US postal priority mail)
and insurance charges per package...with no special handling fees added. Please note in the comments box when placing your order if you want to pre-approve shipping costs. Customer,
however, is responsible for any export duties, customs fees or VAT that apply
in their country.

BACKORDERS
We make every effort to ship orders complete, because
we dislike dealing backorders as much as you dislike receiving them! But occasionally
items get backordered due to manufacturer or supplier delays.
If an item you have ordered is temporarily out-of-stock, you will only be charged
for the items we send you, plus a proportional part of the shipping charge. When
the backordered item is available again it will be shipped to you (at the
original price...even if there has been a price increase), and you'll be charged
for it then along with the rest of the original shipping charge.
This means you do not pay any extra for shipping...only a proportional part of
the original shipping charge with each shipment.
SPECIAL ORDERS
If you don't find what you're looking for on our site we can usually make special orders from the manufacturer for you.
SUBSTITUTIONS
On rare occasions it's sometimes necessary for us to make an item
substitution...but if you're not satisfied with it, you can return the item for
a refund or credit.
DO YOU GUYS EVER SHIP DEFECTIVE TOOLS?
Sure, but only if you specifically ask for them.
Otherwise we guarantee all tools we sell against defects in workmanship and materials.
Sorry, but videos or CD's cannot be returned unless defective .
MAILING LIST
We respect your privacy and do not make our mailing list available to any other companies.
RETURNS/REFUNDS
There are no returns on closeout items or special orders.
If you end up with an item that you don't want, just return
it to the address below within 30 days...and in new condition, please. See
the back of your sales slip for details.
Please pack it securely (we can't be of help if your returned item doesn't make
it back to us), include a copy of your sales slip or order #, and let us know
if you want an exchange, credit or refund. Sorry, videos and CD's cannot
be returned unless defective, and slightly used merchandise is subject to minimum
25% restocking fee.
