Product Description
- These are bonded hard stones made by fusing the mineral bauxite.
- They "sand and grind" steel, but not as aggressively as diamond stones, which makes them ideal for deburring base edges...since removing too much base edge can unintentionally create unwanted excess base edge bevel.
- For best results, we recommend honing and final polishing edge surfaces after using these stones with finer ceramic, arkansas or translucent hard stones.
- We also offer these four aluminum oxide stones in a kit in a protective cordura roll-up bag.
- Due to thickness, these stones will only fit side file guides that use a spring clamp. Such as the SVST guides.
- They'll fit the Beast base bevel guides and the SVST Final Cut Guides. Please check tool description for thickness limitations.
- The stones measure 4" x 3/4" x 3/8", and can (and should) be used with a bevel guide to ensure precise results.
- We offer four aluminum oxide stones singly OR set of all four kit in a protective cordura roll-up bag.
- Coarse 220 grit for repairing rock damage
- 320 for base edge deburring and polishing.
- 400 for base edge deburring and polishing.
- 600 grits for base edge deburring and polishing.
